tg-Control:
Offers extremely simple control of temperature and gas supply. The single-use bioreactor is suitable for cell cultures (animal, insect, and plant cells). It consists of a sterile single-use bag, easily filled with media and cell culture, placed on a rocker platform. The rocking motion prevents cells from settling on the reactor surface, ensuring homogenous movement, which enhances oxygen or CO2 transfer without damaging the cells. The rocking angle, speed, and acceleration can be adjusted.

Bioreactor Setup:
The bioreactor is equipped with multiple tubes for sample addition and withdrawal, as well as product harvesting. Most tubes have CPC connectors, and sampling tubes feature Luer Lock connections.

Temperature Control:
The temperature is regulated with a heating blanket. When the temperature drops below the set point, the blanket activates to raise the temperature of the cell medium. The heating blanket is positioned under the reactor, providing a simple and proven method for temperature control.

Additional Features of ez-Control Over tg-Control:
For some users, controlling only temperature, rocking speed, and gas flow is insufficient. With ez-Control, data collection and control of pH, oxygen, temperature, rocking speed, and angle are possible.

pH Control:
pH can be adjusted both up and down with ez-Control. If pH drops below the set point, a peristaltic pump with a base is activated. If pH rises above the set point, a gas solenoid valve is activated to add CO2 to the liquid surface. The curve can be monitored on the ez-Control display.

Aeration:
ez-Control is equipped with two or more rotameters for air, CO2, oxygen, or nitrogen. During cultivation, the bioreactor is supplied with a continuous flow of air at the surface, which can be mixed with CO2 for optimal growth conditions.

Dosing Monitoring:
ez-Control can monitor additions from the peristaltic pumps. Gas quantity can also be measured with mass flow control units, which can be purchased as part of the standard packages.
