Laboratory stainless steel bioreactors with "Steam in Place" – BioBench

All BioBench bioreactors are of the highest quality for laboratory scale and pilot plant. They are steam in place.

Applikon now offers the popular ez-Control for controlling "Steam in Place" systems. Initially, there will be a range of standard systems available in 7, 15, 20, and 30 L.

Advantages of ez-Control:
Robustness:
The reactors are made of stainless steel, making them more robust than glass bioreactors. They can be used under higher pressure compared to autoclaveable systems. BioBench systems can be used for both microbiological fermentation and cell cultivation.

Design for Maximum Flexibility:
Applikon bioreactors and fermenters are designed for maximum flexibility. The top plate of the reactor has holes for mounting various ports and no welded pipes. This means the system can be assembled entirely according to user needs, so if there are changes in the application, the system can be easily modified.

Highest Quality:
The top plate is made of 316L stainless steel, and all other parts of the bioreactor have an electropolished finish ensuring high cleanability of all parts.

The reactor itself is also produced in SS 316L (1.4435) and designed according to ASME Section IV, but can, of course, be supplied with other pressure codes.
