We are always prepared to immediately replace it with a pre-cooled freezer from our network of over 25 locations throughout Denmark.

Should a freezer break down outside of normal working hours, Holm & Halby is immediately ready to deploy a cooled rental freezer from one of our more than 25 distribution sites in the country. This means that customers with a 24-hour service agreement can be assured that they will not lose invaluable samples due to a breakdown.

Freezer on Full Emergency Dispatch
When we respond under a 24-hour service agreement, it is crucial that the rental freezer arrives at the customer's location on time to prevent contamination of the samples. This can sometimes create intense situations. Henning Christoffersen, Technical Manager at Holm & Halby, experienced such an incident a few years ago: "We were contacted by the police late one evening requesting assistance at a controlled break-in at one of our rental freezer centers because a Falck employee had lost the key and could not gain access. They contacted me as I lived nearby and had a key. When I arrived, the area was filled with three police cars, two Falck vehicles, and a driver ready to transport the freezer, as well as local news media. I was able to easily pass through and unlock." Fortunately, the customer received the freezer in time.

Insurance for the Future
"Although we offer this 24-hour service agreement, we naturally prefer that it not be necessary to respond during nighttime hours. We prioritize maintaining the freezers optimally. Therefore, a 24-hour security agreement also includes an annual service inspection," explains Charlotte Schou Madsen, Product Manager at Holm & Halby.
